Holidays

We have researched and organised many ways of enabling you to have a break during or after your child's treatment. You may want to go on holiday as a family or perhaps your child would like to go to camp where they are totally spoiled. In a camp children can have fantastic fun, leaving the family to have some quality time, safe in the knowledge the sick child is being well looked after. Many teenagers usually prefer going to the Youth Cancer Trust in Bournemouth where they can take a friend with them for a 5 day break allowing them private time to share their fears and anxieties with each other.

Disneyland

If you are thinking of going to Disneyland then please call us first. We can help you co-ordinate your holiday by arranging all theme park passes free and for you to stay in Florida at either Give Kids the World Village or a private villa free of charge. If you prefer Paris you can stay in a Disney hotel within the theme park for a family room at £100 for a 3day/2night stay all passes included.

Bournemouth Camp

Youth Cancer Trust - This holiday is for teenagers. Monday to Friday. CCLASP staff travel with them to London by air and then on to Bournemouth in the YCT minibus. Lots to do including dry slope ski-ing, go-karting and even a trip on a million pound yacht! The holiday is free of charge including accommodation, flights and any trips or excursions. Caravans

We have two Caravans available for breaks – Berwick Upon Tweed and Seton Sands. They are both in holiday villages by the sea with Berwick being the ‘more lively’ of the two. Both are 8 berth with 2 toilets, shower room/half bath with central heating and double glazing. Bookings are from end of March until mid November. We ask that you arrive after 2pm on the Saturday and leave before noon on the Friday giving us time to clean and air the caravan for the next family. We have also just purchased a lovely new caravan at Berwick Upon Tweed.

Muthill Cottage

CCLASP were recently donated the use of a cottage at Muthill, Perthshire for 50 years by Ian MacDonald of IME Ltd. We have refurbished the cottage which is now open for use. It has 3 bedrooms, wet floor shower, new kitchen and back and front garden with fabulous new log cabin as a private fun place for the children. Crieff is only 1 mile away and Gleneagles only 3 miles. Lots of places of interest nearby or just perfect peace and quiet if you are in need of some respite. There is a strict no smoking and no pets policy in either caravans or cottage.

Blackpool Dream House

Donna’s Dream House is available to all families on a once only basis. You have your own apartment within the house and are given passes to many attractions including The Tower, Seaworld, Model Village, and Circus. You must provide your own transport. Glenalmond College Camp
